The increasingly unpredictable weather has, unfortunately, brought about a boom in certain diseases. Dengue is one of these diseases, and according to a report from the Philippines’ Department of Health, the country has seen a 98% increase in cases in August 2019 compared to the same month last year. According to the Davao City City Health Office, it specifically had nearly 2,500 Dengue cases, with nine deaths recorded as of October 2019.
