The premium is the amount you pay to keep your policy active. It differs in terms of frequency and cost depending on the package you are comfortable with based on your budget.
What does co-pay mean?
Co-pay, also known as co-payment, is an arrangement where 90% of the total covered hospital bill will be shouldered by AIA Philippines and the remaining 10% will be paid for by you. For example, if your total hospital bill is P15,000, AIA Philippines will shoulder 90% of it, which means all you have to spend is P1,500 or the remaining 10%.
What does medical benefit lifetime limit mean?
The lifetime limit of your medical benefit refers to the maximum amount AIA Philippines will cover all throughout the duration of the policy. The lifetime limit will depend on the package you have chosen.
What is an aggregate or annual limit?
The aggregate or annual limit is the maximum amount AIA Philippines will cover for your yearly medical expenses. If you reach this limit, your medical rider will no longer cover extra expenses within the year. The following year, however, your coverage is renewed, and you can start claiming benefits again. The time when the annual limit is renewed is called the Policy Anniversary.
What is a lifetime limit?
The lifetime limit is the very maximum amount that AIA Philippines will provide for your medical benefits. It cannot be renewed. Reaching it marks the end of your coverage.
